Stream Ring turns conversations into real-time notes

Former Meta employees unveiled Stream Ring, a smart ring that listens to and records your conversations, turning them into notes in real time. It also connects to headphones and lets you control music.
The preorder price is $249, with shipping planned for summer 2026.
The idea behind the product is simple but ambitious: shorten the distance between thought and action. An idea can become a recorded note without taking out your phone or breaking your flow. The ring is designed to catch those fleeting moments when an insight appears.
To me, it feels like another tracking device built under the banner of AI. I wonder what the younger generation will look like in a few years, surrounded by glasses, watches, rings, and even shoelaces monitoring our every move.
