How internet companies describe their vision

George Mallory, the man who measured the height of Everest, the highest mountain in the world, was once asked why he wanted to climb it. His answer was, "Because it's there." Each of us has an ambition in life, and every company has its own vision.
As part of a small research project, I collected the Vision statements of several companies. It is interesting to see how their actions reflect their ambitions:
- Facebook: Give people the power to build communities and "bring the world closer together."
- Wix: "create your own website free exactly the way you want"
- AirBNB: Feel at home anywhere in the world. "Belong anywhere."
- Microsoft: "empower every person & organisation to achieve more"
- Google: Organize the world's information and make it accessible in the best and fastest way possible.
- Fiverr: "change how the world works together"
- Amazon: Aim for the lowest prices, the widest selection, and the greatest convenience.
- Apple: Be the most user-focused company, delivering the best UX through innovation in software, hardware, and services.
- Netflix: "the best global entertainment distribution service"
- Uber: Transportation as reliable as running water, everywhere and for everyone.
- eBay: The preferred place for "discovering great value and unique selection."
