Building LetMeAIThatForYou in 3 hours with Lovable.dev

After almost 50 iterations, and just as I was about to give up, I built LetMeAIThatForYou, a modern take on the familiar LMGTFY.
For anyone who missed it, LMGTFY was a sarcastic site from the early days of Google. Instead of answering a question, people, usually condescending geeks, would send a link that played an animation showing how to search Google for the answer. Now that ChatGPT is in every pocket but still underused, the joke needed an update.
If this had required more than 2-3 hours of work, it probably would have stayed in my head with the rest of my forgotten, unbuilt ideas. Instead of writing code, I wrote instructions in Lovable.dev. After a lot of explanations and corrections, I reached a result I was happy with after only 3 hours of work.
What once took days or even weeks of development can now be done in a few hours. Ideas used to stay in our heads or in a document. Today, we can turn them into working technology without a major investment. This is the future people in technology have been working toward, and it is starting to become real.
LetMeAIThatForYou is for the next time someone asks a question and the answer is: “Why don’t you ask Chat GPT?”
