A real-time Elon Musk deepfake went live on TikTok

Elon Musk went live on TikTok, and users flooded the world's richest man, behind Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter, Neuralink, and more, with questions. He acted like a hyperactive child and showed off a chrome toy spaceship from SpaceX. Someone asked, "Is this for real?" Another asked if it was a mask, so he stretched his face to prove it was real.
None of it was real. A TikTok user was altering his face in real time to impersonate Musk. This technology is not accessible to everyone yet. It requires programming knowledge and a high-performance computer, but plenty of people have both.
It is only a matter of time before this technology causes damage that no one can ignore.
