# How do you start adopting AI in a small business without developing anything?

Pick one problem that repeats every week, match it to an existing tool, measure for a month, and only then expand.

## In depth

There are five steps.

**1. Choose one process.** Not "bring AI into the business", but something specific: answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, drafting price quotes, tracking leads.

**2. Measure what it looks like today.** How long does it take? How many inquiries get lost? Without an opening number you cannot know whether you improved.

**3. Look for an existing tool.** Almost every common problem already has a ready-made tool. Custom development is rarely needed in a small business.

**4. Start small.** One user, one case, two weeks. Check answers manually at first.

**5. Decide in advance when to stop.** If there is no improvement after a month, cancel the subscription. A tool that does not save time is not worth its price.

**Common mistake:** buying five tools at once. Every tool requires setup and maintenance.

In a talk I gave at the "Lashevet" workspace in Shafayim, I spent 45 minutes on a live demo: I took ideas from the audience and turned them into websites. The lesson for a small business is to start with an experiment you can see and test, instead of buying several tools at once.
